Managing Your Plan
The Manage Subscription tab is where you view available plans, compare features, and activate or change your subscription. Open Settings > Subscription and select the Manage Subscription tab.
Plan Features Table
A comparison table at the bottom of the page shows what is included in each plan. The table is organized into sections such as billing details, features, and usage limits.
A green check icon means the feature is included in that plan.
A grey close icon means the feature is not available on that plan.
Numeric limits (such as the number of projects allowed) are shown as a count. "Unlimited" means there is no cap.
An hourglass icon marks features that are coming soon and not yet available.
Hover over any information icon next to a row or section header to see a tooltip with more detail. On smaller screens, the table collapses to a single-plan view with a dropdown to switch between plans.
How Billing Works
Above the features table, a summary explains how subscription billing is calculated:
Monthly — any user marked Active at any point during a month is billed the full monthly rate for that month.
Yearly — billing is based on the high-water mark of active users per month. When the number of active users in a month exceeds the current high-water mark, each newly added user is billed at the yearly rate prorated for the remaining months in the term. The high-water mark is then raised to the new level.
Upgrades — upgrading your plan or switching from monthly to yearly billing takes effect immediately. You will be billed the prorated amount based upon the remaining days in your current billing period.
Downgrades — downgrading your plan or switching from yearly to monthly billing takes effect at the end of your current billing period.
Choosing a Plan
When subscription billing is active, the plan picker appears above the features table. It shows one card for each available plan, displayed side by side.
Plan Cards
Each plan card displays:
Plan name — the display name of the plan.
Price per user — shown in your selected currency, per user, per billing period.
Total cost — calculated as the per-user price multiplied by your current active user count.
Savings callout — when viewing monthly pricing, a note shows how much you would save per user by switching to yearly. When viewing yearly pricing, the per-user savings compared to monthly are displayed.
Feature highlights — a short list of key features included with the plan, shown as check marks.
Billing Period Toggle
A Monthly / Yearly toggle switch above the plan cards lets you switch between billing periods. The prices on all plan cards update to reflect the selected period.
Current Plan Indicator
Above the plan picker, a summary shows your current plan name, billing period, active user count, and next billing or trial expiry date.
Activating a Subscription
If you are on a trial or do not have an active paid subscription, the tab shows the plan picker with an Activate Subscription button. Select a plan, choose your billing period, and click Activate Subscription.
A confirmation dialog appears with:
The selected plan name and billing period.
Price per user.
Your current active user count.
The amount due now.
If no payment method is on file, you are prompted to add one before completing the activation. Your trial ends immediately upon activation and the paid subscription begins.
You can set your preferred billing currency before activating. Once a subscription is active, the currency cannot be changed.
Billing Currency
A currency selector with three options — USD, EUR, and GBP — appears alongside the plan picker. Select your preferred currency before activating. All plan prices update to reflect the chosen currency.
Changing Your Plan
If you already have an active paid subscription, the tab shows the plan picker with a Change Plan button. The button is disabled until you select a different plan or billing period from your current one.
Click Change Plan to open a confirmation dialog. The content of the dialog depends on the type of change:
Upgrading
Upgrading to a higher-tier plan or switching from monthly to yearly billing takes effect immediately after the upgrade payment has been completed. The confirmation dialog shows:
The new plan name.
Price per user in the new plan.
Your current active user count.
The prorated amount due now.
When you upgrade, a note explains that the prorated amount is an approximation and may vary slightly from the actual charge. This is because Stripe performs the calculation at the time of renewal, which might vary slightly from when the displayed estimate was made.
Downgrading
Downgrading to a lower-tier plan or switching from yearly to monthly billing takes effect at the end of your current billing period. The confirmation dialog shows:
The new plan name.
The date the change takes effect.
Confirmation that you will not be charged today.
A note explains that when downgrading, access to your current features will change at the end of your billing period, some functionality may be altered or lost, but all your data is kept safe and you can upgrade again at any time to unlock those features.
Same Plan, Different Period
You can also change just the billing period without changing your plan:
Monthly to Yearly — treated as an upgrade. Takes effect immediately with a prorated charge.
Yearly to Monthly — treated as a downgrade. Takes effect at the end of your current billing period.
Cancelling Your Subscription
A Cancel subscription link appears below the plan picker. Click it to open a confirmation dialog.
The dialog confirms that:
Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.
You can continue using all features until that date.
Unsubscribed accounts and all associated data are permanently deleted after one year of inactivity, in accordance with GDPR. Because of this, is advisable that you download your account data before the final day of your subscription. See Exports for details.
Click Keep Subscription to return without cancelling, or Confirm Cancellation to proceed.
