Draft Entries
A draft is proposed time: an entry that sits on your calendar, visible only to you, waiting for your decision. It isn't part of the time record — it doesn't appear in reports or billing — until you accept it. Drafts are how time recorded on your behalf stays under your control.
Where drafts come from
An AI Agent — an Agent connected to AbleTime records your work as drafts while you work. Covered under Documentation → Time / Task Manager.
Your calendar feeds — events pulled from Apple, Google, or Outlook calendars land as drafts. Covered under Time Entry → Calendar Feeds.
Drafts on the calendar
Drafts sit on the tracker alongside your recorded time, each card showing its title and, once linked, its project and category. Every draft card has a three-dot menu with two actions — Accept and Dismiss — and clicking the card opens it in full.
While the Review Drafts panel is open, clicking draft cards selects them for bulk action instead of opening them — the panel and the calendar work together. The panel is covered under Getting Started → Productivity Drawer.
Calendar Feeds
Calendar feeds pull events off your personal/work calendars and place them as drafts in Time Tracker. You can load/refresh these by clicking on the Calendar Events button on the top-left of that section. See Calendar Feeds for more details.
Accepting
Accepting turns a draft into recorded time. Opening a draft shows what was captured — its source, date, times, and duration — above the normal entry form: pick or correct the category and task, adjust anything that needs it, and click Accept. A draft can't be accepted without a category.
To accept many drafts at once, use the Review Drafts panel in the Productivity Drawer — summary, filtering, per-task selection, and bulk accept are covered there.
Dismissing
Dismissing removes a draft that wasn't real work. It cannot be undone, and a dismissed calendar event stays dismissed even when its feed is pulled again — the same event will not come back.
