Activity Reports

The Activity Report shows a per-user overview of time tracking activity for a selected period. Open it by selecting Reports > Activity from the sidebar.

Toolbar

The toolbar contains a date range picker only. It defaults to the current week. Select any start and end date, or use the built-in shortcuts. Arrow buttons step through periods based on the current range.

Summary Row

Three summary figures appear below the toolbar:

  • Active Users — The number of users who logged time during the period, shown as a count out of the total active users in the organisation (e.g. 8 / 12).

  • No Activity — The number of active users who did not log any time.

  • Total Hours — Combined hours logged by all users in the period, displayed in H:MM format.

Filter Bar

A filter bar sits above the data grid with a Username text field. Type to filter the grid to users whose name matches the entered text. Click the X button to clear the filter.

User Grid

The main data grid lists every user who has logged time in the selected period. Columns:

  • User — The user's avatar and name. Click a user row to open the User Report modal (see below).

  • Total Hours — Total time logged by the user, in H:MM format.

  • Active Days — The number of days on which the user logged at least one time entry.

  • Activity Trend — A sparkline bar chart showing the user's daily hours across the period. Each bar represents one day. Hover over a bar to see the date and hours logged.

Pagination options: 10 or 25 rows per page.

User Report Modal

Clicking a user in the grid opens a modal titled User Report: {name}. This shows a detailed personal time report for the selected user, including:

  • A date range picker for the reporting period.

  • Summary metrics: Total Hours, Billable Hours, and Total Entries.

  • A project-by-project breakdown. Each project shows its colour, name, total hours, and billable hours. Expand a project to see a table of categories with hours, status, and last activity date.

  • An export option to download the user's data as CSV, Excel, PDF, or Print.

Use the left and right arrow buttons in the modal header to navigate between users without closing the modal.
